Clarion Hotel Bergen Airport

The hotel is a very quick walk to the airport even on a horrible windy rainy day. There is a corridor that connects to a semi-covered area that will eventually get you to walk through the airport parking garage. The room was very quiet. We left too early to enjoy the breakfast buffet.

We were a little confused on arrival, as was the front desk staff, as to how get to the airport from the hotel. We had to return our rental car to the airport. We just started driving away from your hotel and were delighted to see that the airport car rental return was right at the end of the driveway from the hotel. It couldn't have been easier to get to the airport and was a very easy walk as well. The hotel breakfast was excellent and consistent with our breakfast experience with your Hotel in downtown Bergen. We like the Clarion hotels in Norway. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need as a short term guest. A nice plus was that you think to provide little things like facial tissue in the bathroom which we found other Norwegian accommodations did not provide.

We liked the proximity to the airport terminal, and you could even see the domestic apron from the windows at the end of our floor. The cost for one night is the most I've ever paid for a hotel in my life but it was worth it for not having the stress of having to get to the airport in the morning. Bed was very comfortable. Air con was great. Shower was good. All immaculately clean. The staff were very kind and allowed us to check in an hour early. All staff we encountered were very friendly. We were leaving very early but even so there was a breakfast provision - after 6am you get the whole works, 4am-6am you can get anything cold, basically (and hot drinks) - cold meats, cheeses, fish, cereals, fruits, breads. It was an excellent option for 5am!!

Variety, freshness all good at breakfast and dinner. Our room was very comfortable. The only reason I didn't give excellent was the corridors showed their age. And we would have liked at least vending machines until the restaurant opened. Staff and room and restaurant perfect

For an airport I had a quiet room which was very welcome. Very easy to find from the terminal and only a short 5 min walk through the car park. I picked the hotel because I initially had a very late arrival time (but changed this later) and it saved me having to travel into town. The breakfast choice was excellent.
